And so they have a release date for Animal Crossing: City Folk
If life were an endless vacation, what would you do? Go fishing, collect shells or watch fireworks with friends? Build a snowman, exchange presents with family or decorate your house for the holidays? Take a trip to the city, go on a shopping spree or visit friends from all over the globe? In Animal Crossing: City Folk, life moves at a relaxed pace, but the world brims with endless possibilities.
• There’s always something new to do. In the living, breathing world of Animal Crossing: City Folk, days and seasons pass in real time, so there’s always something to discover. Catch fireflies in the summer, go trick-or-treating on Halloween or hunt for eggs on Bunny Day. If you’re in the mood for something a little faster paced, take a bus to a new urban city area that’s unique to Animal Crossing: City Folk. There you can catch a show at the theater or check out the sales at Gracie’s boutique. But if you don’t show your face back home for too long, your neighbors will miss you.• Up to four people from your household can live and work together to build the perfect town. Design clothes and patterns, write letters and post messages on the bulletin board for each other, or invite up to three friends to visit your town using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. With the new WiiSpeak microphone, it’s like you’re all in the same room. The microphone sits atop the sensor bar and picks up the conversation of everyone in the room to encourage a more inclusive experience.
• Get to know your neighbors. The heart of Animal Crossing: City Folk is building relationships with the animals in your town as well as with other players. Befriend your animal neighbors by exchanging letters, gifts and favors. Animals can also move from town to town, bringing their memories and stories from their old towns with them. And since animals are notoriously loose-lipped, they spill all the juicy details.
• Express your personal style. Customize your town, your house and yourself by collecting bugs, fish, fossils, art, furniture, clothes and accessories. You can also go to the salon in the city to change your hairstyle and get a Mii™ makeover. Plus, if you design clothes in the tailor’s shop, animals will wear them and maybe even bring them to other towns.
I am the happiest girl ever... Now I can spend my last days of my pregnancy curled up with my wii-mote and playing my favorite game in the whole world
Last night Grey and I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to look around. We always stop and try out the massage chairs at the end of the store. While we were there we looked at the face masks. Grey has been talking about how he wants one since we saw The Darjeeling Limited in the theater. So last night we gave in and got new ones. I love mine so much I put it on in the parking lot. Then of course we were going to Target and Grey kept driving around the parking lot pretending he was on his way there to trick me. It was really funny. He told me we were there and when I took the mask off we were at the dumpsters behind Old Navy lol.
I can't believe how fast the weekends fly by. I am always so sad when the alarm goes off on Monday morning meaning Grey has to go to work.I had a great weekend though. We did the yard sale thing on Saturday and Sunday was kinda bum around day. I finished the last Twilight book Sunday morning (yes I cried but not hard ha ha) and so I needed a new book asap. We also were in the mood for movies. It was supposed to rain here but never did which was a bummer. So we hit Gamestop, Best Buy, Barnes and Nobel and then Hollywood video. We ended up getting the films at Hollywood because they had a buy 2 get 2 free deal we couldn't pass up. At Barnes and Noble we got some coffee and dessert and hung out while I searched for a new book. I was going to get Snuff... the new Chuck Palahniuk book but then decided to wait. I will eventually get it and devour it in a day or so but the subject matter of the book is about this gang bang porn star thing and I just don't feel like subjecting myself to that right now. In fact I ended up going the complete opposite direction and purchased "In this House of Brede" Its about this woman in the 50s or 60s who quits a successful job in London to become a nun. I picked it not only for the subject matter but also because its a pretty thick book so I am hoping it will last me a bit : ) I am really excited to read it. I have started and like it so far.
In other news.. The physical trials of pregnancy are starting to reach me. For the first time in my life I am experiencing acid reflux and heart burn. I also am getting more and more uncomfortably big which makes things like putting on pants, shaving legs and getting in and out of my Rover very difficult. I keep trying to remind myself that I should enjoy this but it sucks when last night Grey and I were trying to watch a movie and I was sick to my stomach with heartburn plus my hips are spreading which is causing growing pains down my legs and up my back and I cant get comfortable and I have a headache and there is an almost 2 pound boy inside me kicking me lol. I am lying about complaining about the kicks. For me the stronger the better. When I get some really big ones I usually giggle out loud : ).
So I have listed my iBook on Craigslist and Ebay. I am hoping to sell it this week... If you are interested here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250281514904
Yesterday I got up and said "Grey lets go hit the yard sales". And so we did. It was really fun and I think we plan on doing it more often. Thank God for my iPhone though cause we are new to the area and so it was awesome to use the maps to get turn by turn to get to each big sale. My biggest score were some cowgirl boots for $5!!!!
Grey found out that they were coming in to prune the roses the next day so he got permission to cut me one (big no no without permission!) So I got to pick anyone I wanted. I picked the prettiest pink one and didn't stop smelling it the whole way home : )
On whom do you have your most embarrassing/scariest crush?
Submitted by Jillzey.
Those of you who already know this.. well I don't know how to explain it... Grey gives me a lot of grief for it but my most embarrassing crush is....
Yep... Bob Saget... .Ok I confessed... gonna go hide now : )
I have been waiting to post about this because there is a video that goes with it but it on Grey's phone and I keep forgetting to get him to load it on the computer. Anyways...
A few weeks ago we were in Target looking for fish food and I suddenly saw something amazing! Hats for your cat!!! They were only like $2.50 each. I have two cats right now so we got an elephant one and a lion. Here are the results:
If you have a face book and use the bumper sticker application you may have noticed that there are suddenly thousands of these little stickers you can give to your friend to put on their page that have to do with the Twilight series ( more specifically the main character's love Edward Cullen). My sisters seem to have every one of the stickers on their page. I think its funny! I have been reading the books. I enjoy reading them because they are a fast read and a good escape kind of read but they are in no way shape or form the "best series ever" like my younger sisters make it out to be. (sorry sis if you are reading this lol) Anyways, the biggest issue I have is that all these girls keep going on and on about Edward and I just don't see it. Yes the guy playing him in the upcoming film is very cute but that doesn't turn him into some kind of Romeo. Speaking of Romeo... who needs Edward Cullen when my honey bought me flowers and vintage matching Apple coffee mugs!
First thing is first....
ITS A BOY!!!!
I am just so thankful that so far everything looks really healthy and normal.. Well the doctor said he has a big head lol. I just hope I am not going to have to deliver a 11 pound baby. Not gonna happen. Now we are getting bombarded with name questions. Everyone seems to expect us to have one already. The sad thing is that we have been set on a girl's name... like 2 years ago we picked that one but boy names... really hard. I think we will just go through one of those baby name books for help. Everyone is expecting me to pick something weird... they are probably right. I just want to assure that my top priority is to make sure that his name is not one that he will get made fun of easily. Stay tuned for that.
More news..
I moved! Last week we came into Wilmington and stayed at a really great Bed and Breakfast called "The Blue Heaven". If you ever stay at a B&B in Wilmington I recommend it. Actually I found out about it from Nicole. One funny thing that happened when we were there was as the Inn keeper was showing us the house and our room Grey went to put our suitcase on the rack and accidentally put a mark on the wall right in front of the guy. LOL it was so awkward. I laughed so hard later I was crying. Here is a picture...
I also decided to purchase a domain this week. I am working on a website for my new family. I used to have a site I made a few years ago but I didn't have a proper domain so it was really hard for people to check. Once I have it all the way up and running I will let you all know. Check out what I have so far and let me know what you think:
www.kellyandgrey.com
I want to put my baby registry on there so that it is easy for people to go to one place to get info. Most of the stuff I want is only sold online so I am crossing my fingers that my not so computer savvy family will find this easy. Well stay tuned for more...
Yesterday my honey and I went for a walk. It was such a beautiful evening and there is a really great park about 3 miles from us. At the entrance of the park they have a historical sight with some preserved houses and all sorts of interesting buildings. My #1 concern was the goats!!! They still have an active farm with cows, sheep, bulls and best of all GOATS!! I am a goat whisperer I think cause watch this magic:
The goats were really smiley...
I have more pictures on my flickr. The walk/hike was really fun. They have all these trails, horse trails and even frisbee golf courses. Some how we ended up on a really remote trail and were a bit worried that we were going to get lost but eventually we found a way out. Along the way we found a dam and Grey insisted on taking a picture of me sitting near it ...
It was a lovely walk. On the way home we stopped by the local elementry school to swing for a while. We didn't really walk all that far but it really wore me out. I am trying to stay as active as I can tolerate so that I can stay healty for the pregnancy and hopefully can lose the baby weight after. I have seen a bunch of pregnancy yoga videos for sale at Barnes and Noble and Target. I think I am going to get one of them. I heard yoga is really good. My whole body is changing and stretching would be good. Right now my hip bones are growing and changing to get ready for birth and for the first time since childhood I am feeling growing pains. Countdown to Friday when we will get to know if its a boy or girl. I can't wait!!!
